A few days ago, I boasted how this site got its PageRank even if it is just a month old. You may notice that this site is first registered on 2004 but the truth is, I just bought it last August and started this blog only this September. That’s why I am very proud that this site was given that little green bar in a matter of weeks.
However, when I checked this blog now, I noticed that the site’s PR went to 0 and even my first and second posts, which both had a PR of 2 got a grayed bar. What does this mean? Is Google penalizing my site after confessing I am a link broker? What’s wrong with that? There are a lot of sites doing the same. Maybe Google just don’t want their rankings to be manipulated but I don’t think they can just do this to everyone. This thing is an INDUSTRY, and if Google really want to stop them (large brokers like TLA, Linkworth, etc.) from selling links, it could have just bought them and change their business model.
This also happened only when I add Google Adsense code in template files. I am now thinking if there’s a correlation why on this penalty with putting Adsense codes in my site. I still need to dig more on this.
